Hello, I am Eloise.

My dog Eloise is most definately one of a kind. When we're walking her or have her in the car, she never fails to draw attention, and some odd questions. The best (as in funniest) ones I've ever been asked about her are:

"Is she a kind of chihuahua?" Answer: No. But we understand. Her lack of any apparent brain activity would seem to relate her to that breed.

"Is she still a puppy?" Answer: Nope. She's 2 1/2

" How did you get her so small?" Answer: We programmed the puppy machine that way.

(Seriously, a gal asked me that as if we built puppies in the basement.)

"What do you feed her?" Answer: Goldfish food.

(Sorry for the sarcasm, but really, what do they expect?)

Anyway. So here's something to file away in your All About Eloise Trivia file. Her favorite food? WHIPPED CREAM. These two pictures are of said intelligent pooch licking the whipping cream out of the lid from one of those delicious mocha milkshakes from Cruisin' Coffee. I drink the shake, she gets the whipped cream. And she goes bananas for it.

Ok, so even dogs have their..... moments.

We all love our dogs. They make life better.

Yesterday I was a dog. Today I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still be a dog. "Sigh"

A new hair-do

Not me, my mutt! Eloise was looong over-do for a hair cut, and I finally bit the bullet and brought her in to be scalped. I have had her cut several times, and I always dislike how she turns out. But this time, I actually really like it!
Before....

After....

That's my mutt!

BTW, When I took the driver's test for the first time last week one of the questions was, 'What do you do if a school bus is stopped with it's red lights flashing and children are present.

It's a multi-choice test, and one of the answers you could pick was Speed up. !

If you pick that answer they probably instantly flunk you and put a warning or red flag with cross bones on your record and your licence. If you're lucky enough to get one after that.

Crazy stuff. But then, it is a goverment program. What else do you expect? :P

The Gigger Pinny

If you don't already know, the item of excitement in our household is Ali's newest pet. A little guinea pig named Hemingway(whom I affectionately call the 'gigger pinny'). I won't go into all the details. (go to Ali's blog for that, you've already committed the ultimate crime in her book by visiting my blog first. But I won't tell) ;)

He is cute, he does stink, he makes funny noises (e.g. weep-weep, prrr, snort-snort) , he has silky ears, a darling nose and buck teeth.

Photos galore, and free downloadable 'I love my guine pig' blog buttons will be available on Ali's blog shortly I'm SURE! :)

Long live the guinea pig!
(he'd better)

Eloise

I just HAVE to post more pictures of Eloise, She is so much fun, but at the same time, (just like her namesake) she can be a little bit naughty!

A stray napkin is easy prey for puppy with a particularly innocent, yet mischievious personality!

She has so many toys, but she especially loves the blue doggie, that is almost the exact same size as she is!

Bath time!

She looks even smaller when she is wet!

She is such a sweet heart, she loves to give you kisses on the nose!Oh, can you tell that she LOVES the camera? every time I pull it out, she'll sit and pose for me!

Silly Puppy!

Puppy pictures

These sweet puppies are growing so fast I can hardly believe it! They're two weeks old now. I'm putting up some new pictures, with their names above them for you all to see. These puppies are learning that they can do more with their voices than squeak! they are starting to growl now too! It is such a cute little growl, not at all fierce! Sorry the names are so hard to read, but left to right is, Louis, Elizabeth, Victoria, Catherine, Eddie and Henry. These two are the biggest and the smallest of the litter. There is quite a difference! This is Catherine and Henry. I think Catherine (the little one) looks like a bear cub! Doesn't she sort of remind you of one?!?

The turtle's new name is....

Scooby!

Ali says she knows that one didn't get many votes, but she decided that it was her favorite.
So welcome to the Clark family Scooby!
I apologize for the terrible photo, this little guy is camera shy, and my camera doesn't like taking pictures of anything in the water!

The Turtle

Ali was given a ten gallon tank by a friend, and decided to put, not goldfish in it, but a turtle! As if we don't have enough pets! So a couple months ago, she got books from the library on turtle care, read up on them online, and picked out what kind she wanted. She decided on a Mississippi Map Turtle. So this afternoon after church we drove all the way to Kenmore near Woodinville, to pick up her turtle. He is so, so cute! Ali has been waiting for two months to get her turtle, and now she is so thrilled that she finally has one. But he still doesn't have a name, and she'd like some help picking one. So please take a look at the names on the poll she has narrowed it down to, and vote on your favorite. Maybe even get your siblings (if you have them) to pick their favorite also.

So our pet total is now 2 parakeets, 2 dogs, 6 puppies, (which will all be finding homes) 1 gold fish, and a turtle. But we love every one of them. Our computer is being impossible again, and isn't reading our camera cards, so this is a Google images picture of a Mississippi Map turtle. But he looks just like this.

Puppies!!

Rosie's puppies are finally here! All six of them! Rosie went into labor at around 4pm in the afternoon yesterday, and had the last puppy at 12:19 this morning.
We were all set up and ready for them!
Rosie remembers exactly what happened last time we stuck her in the whelping box! While she was in labor she avoided it like the plague! But now she won't get out of it! :) It was a long night, but these sweet, warm, little ball of fur are so very worth it. It is so cute to see these precious puppies snuggle up to their momma to get warm, and she in return curls into a tight little ball of protection around her babies. There are 3 girls and 3 boys. 3 brown and white ones, and 3 black and white ones. Very even! When it comes to names we always pick a theme. This time I picked old kings and queens. So there names are, Louis, Edward, Henry, Elizabeth, Catherine and Victoria. They are all healthy, and Rosie is doing well also, and she didn't loose as much weight as I expected. That's definitely a bonus, since she'll have more strength and be able to feed her puppies more efficiently. I'll post pictures once in awhile as these sweet puppies grow.

Dog show

It's been for ever since I blogged last! Sorry about that, but I have been really busy!

This Saturday I went with my mom and sisters to a Canadian Kennel Club dog show in a quest to find a breeder that I could ask a million and one questions, about the breed I'm interested in. So here is a Google images picture of what I'm getting.
Aren't they adorable!? I'll be getting a female, and I'm going to name her Bandi ( pronounced-bandee) The dog I have now is hopefully pregnant, so after she has this litter I should be getting the new dog. All you dog people let me know what you think! :)

Posie

This is my dog Rosie Posie.

Rosie is a three year old Shihtzu. Shihtzu is chinese for Lion Dog. Which is fitting because Rosie thinks she is a VERY big dog. On the other hand you do have reason to be afraid of her; Come within a 2 foot radius of me and you'd probably be minus a limb. But with her family she is an awesome dog to be around. She's a spunky dog, who isn't afraid of anything. Rosie is also very smart. In 2006 she won the 4-h Washington state intermediate championship for our state.
She is my little buddy, and love taking pictures of her. I put my favorite ones up for you to see.

As an April Fools day pay-back joke, my dad (so you know where I get it!) Dyed my dogs fur, hot pink!!! It took me forever to wash it out! Watch out dad, you're really gonna get it this next April first!!
